Ron Bone's work has been likened to the American painter, Andrew Wyeth, and he was described by one journalist as the 'English Andrew Wyeth'. The influence and love of both Wyeth and the Dutch artist Vermeer can be clearly seen in his work.
For the last 20 years of his life, Bone concentrated solely on painting. His tranquil interior scenes with lovingly painted treasured objects reflect his own personal style of painting.
